Child Passenger Safety Program

Child safety seat inspections and instruction are done by appointment only.  To schedule an appointment with a Child Passenger Safety Technician, call Ferndale Fire Station 1 at (248) 546-2510, and ask to leave a message for a Technician, or e-mail us here  Make sure to leave a callback number that you can be reached at during daytime hours.

Please bring the following items to your appointment:

1. ✓    Your child, if already born
   

2. ✓    Child Safety Seat
   

3. ✓    Child Seat Owner’s Manual
   

4. ✓    Your Vehicle Owner’s Manual
   

5. ✓    Any family members who wish to participate
   

The instruction will take between 30-45 minutes
